Connecting Communities through Sport

SocialSport provides new immigrant, refugee, and vulnerable youth with the opportunity to take part in sports and recreation programs in their community

Where We Fit In

It takes a village to raise a child, and at SocialSport we work with a broad range of governmental, non-profit, and community-level partners to provide access and opportunity for youth in sport.

GOVERNMENT AGENCIES

We work with immigration, youth support, and mental health organizations to provide programming and outreach for those who need it most.

COMMUNITY SPORTS

By partnering with community-level sports and recreations programs, we ensure that not only are our beneficiaries staying active, they’re integrating themselves with their new community.

EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

We work closely alongside university researchers to better understand how sport and community function together. Our programming functions as a valuable research resource.

Our Team

These are the people that make it happen. SocialSport is a 100% volunteer based organization, connecting dedicated community leaders with incredible youth athletes.
